Where are your favourite riding spots?
Verbier, Chamonix, Sass Fee, Zermatt
How many years have you been riding? This year will be my 5th year riding and 4th season in Verbier
What are your plans for this season?
Working full time for es-ride and training with Rob for my level 3 exams at the end of the season in Hintertux, Austria. Hopefully coming back next season with my BASI level 3 ISIA in the bag to do yet another season of fun
Looking to the Future? Continuing to work with es-ride full time in the future and stay in Verbier all year round, bringing some of my other skills to the resort
Summertime? I have been working hard during the summer guiding mountain biking and working in a Mountain bike shop. I also have been working as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in a gym.
What other interests do you have when you are off the hill?.
Since a young age one of my main passions has been mountain biking. I have ridden competitively since the age of 9 years and some of my best results to date have been Welsh Junior Champion, 3rd placed rider in the Midland series and have been nationally ranked 8th in the Junior category. I still ride today, taking a little break in mid-summer to travel back to Verbier and tour a little of France around Les Arcs for some serious trail riding on my Orange Patriot 66.
Surfing
Another strong interest of mine is surfing. I enjoy all disciplines of surfing and head down to the Gower when the conditions are right, this is where I first took it up when I was at Swansea University. I prefer right handers to lefts but any clean and peeling wave is a good one.
DJ-ing
My other Interest is music; it’s a rare sight to see me up the mountain without my tunes on. I enjoy watching live music / bands, especially in the après-ski of the farinet after a day on the hill. I like all types of music and have DJ’ed in bars, clubs and after hour parties in the past.
